On May 1st. we celebrated International Labor Day, as a special date to vindicate the rights of workers throughout the World.

The PanAmerican Union of Engineering Organizations “Unión Panamericana de Asociaciones de Ingenieros” (UPADI) wishes to commemorate this date as a special occasion in the practice of engineering in all of its areas. Thanks to the honest, responsible, hard work of our ancestors, today engineers can enjoy the latest technology to carry out research, obtain in depth and accurate knowledge and mostly perform our work in a safer and more reliable mannerfor society.

We are also thankful for the work performed by engineers today, in the following engineering fields; environmental, physical, mechanical, geotechnical, mathematical, transportation, structural, hydraulic and many others, which have enabled a faster and constant progress in such areas.

For all those leading organizations, companies and institutions dedicated to engineering, UPADI also promotes safeguarding and fighting for the rights of engineers that form part of their group, as a way to consolidate a sound practice of engineering throughout the World.
