UPADI has great experiences in all of its activities, with an always-positive influence through its member organizations, for that, efficient and effective engineering solutions must be brought about for problems in common for all involved, especially in the technical field.

In subject matters like engineering, environment, engineering teaching, and water resource among others, UPADI is able to transfer knowledge from one country to another, as well as from one region to another. Benefits in the short, medium and long term in our nations will be evident and these will improve the quality of life of their people.

If a benefit for our countries is to be achieved by the work of the Technical Council, it is necessary to redefine the Technical Committees’ way of working so far. We have high-level professionals, good universities, excellent research teams and other capabilities. It is also worth mentioning, as strength, the support by the Pan American Academy of Engineering. However, if a self-evaluation were necessary in this very moment, we would most likely fail in this “subject”. For this reason, it is now time of change for Committees and their structures so better results can be obtained.
